December was a very busy month for us as I expect it was for most. We were very pleased with the amount of interest in our products and excited to work with a few customers, helping them create bespoke collars for their dogs; more on that later this month.

Just a very quick update for the November photo competition, as there were not too many entries in November (1 to be precise) the job of judging the competition became infinitely easier and after not too much deliberation, the panel of judges decided to award First Place to Jazzy, a beautiful boxer dog.
I would just like to say that even if we had been inundated with entries for the November competition, Jazzy would still have earned a rosette as she is gorgeous.
So, the closing date for December’s Photo Competition is 15th Jan 2014, so far there are not a lot of entries so send your photos in, you are in with a great chance of winning one of our stylish rosettes. I know that lots of you bought Denim 4 Dogs products in December so why not have a little bit of fun and and brim with pride as your dog wins first place? By the way, did I mention it is free to enter? Just send a photo of your dog wearing their Denim 4 Dogs handmade product to email@example.com.
Denim 4 Dogs is proud to announce the winners of October’s Photo competition. The competition has been set up as a little bit of fun for dog owners who have purchased a handmade item, who can then take a photo of their dog wearing the item and send it in to us to enter into our competition. We have had some lovely photos sent in in October and I would like to say a big thank you to the owners who have taken the time to send theirs in.
So well done to the three lovely dogs and I hope you like the rosettes. As a tip for owners wishing to enter their dogs into our competition, think about location; is there somewhere well known you could take their photo. Or perhaps you could snap your puppy doing something humorous. Anyway, good luck in Novembers competition.

Last Sunday I was lucky enough to be asked to help support my local RSPCA centre (Leybourne) by taking part in the London 2 Brighton sponsored bike ride. Now, like many I expect, bike riding was something that stopped abruptly when I got my first car so the prospect of riding c54 miles seemed quite daunting. Especially as in the last 8 miles there is a massive hill to climb!
Suffice to say that yes, it was hard going but everyone put in a huge effort and completed the journey despite a crash that closed some of the course for a while and some very heavy rain bursts.
So a big well done to all that took part and thanks to the support crew for keeping us going.

I have uploaded some photo’s of the event to the gallery page, see the link near the top of this page.
For those of you who haven’t already, please take a look at our website and share it with your friends via facebook and twitter, thanks.
